Colin True - Multi-Sport

The team's rookie, Colin has been participating in endurance sports for the past 4 years, starting with his first sprint triathlon and leading up to a solo pentathlon in 2007. Although he has participated in Adventure Races in the past, this will be the first year on an elite team. For Colin, the most appealing aspect of Adventure Racing is that it is a team sport noting that having teammates when the going gets tough is special compared with solo endurance sports. Most of all Colin brings a sense of levity to the team as he is able to make jokes and keep it light even when things take a turn for the worst. "Racing should be fun first," says Colin, "otherwise, why go out at all? The podium is just icing on the cake."

Current Project:
Improving my technical mountain bike skills. Trying to get into the next Will Ferrell movie.

Favorite Training Ground
Locally: Green Mountain, Buffalo Creek and the trails around Boulder. My heart is eternally linked to New Hampshire though. The Northeast is underrated as a great place to train and to recreate out of doors!
