Mike became fascinated with the idea of adventure racing after seeing an Ian Adamson Eco-Challenge slideshow 7 years ago. Soon after, he convinced two AR veterans to race with him that summer and he has been hooked on the sport ever since. He loves the team aspect of the sport and the mental and physical demands of racing for 24 hours straight. When Mike isn't training around the foothills of Boulder, he can usually be found climbing in Eldorado Canyon or sampling some of Boulder’s fine microbrews.
