Incredible
I just finished the Georgia section of the Appalachian Trail this past week with this pack and I cant stop talking about how awesome this pack is. The trip lasted 7 days and my pack weight was around 23 pounds with food and water. The entire time I was hiking I had to keep reminding myself that there was a pack on my back. The hip belt straps on this pack have to be one of the best designs I have seen on a pack. This is the first pack I have owned that I was able to put all the weight on my hips, which is one of the reasons the pack is so comfortable. If you are on the fence about this bag dont be, pick one up! You will love it!

Nice pack, ugly blue
Love the pack, but boy is the blue awful. Really wish these packs came in colors that blended in with nature.

6 years, 2.5 years permanent travel and going
I've had the Jam² 50l for 6 years now. Have been using it for trekking, via ferratas and mountaineering before taking it on my round the world trip 2.5 years ago. I'm still traveling and so is my Jam². It went around the world twice already. Best product ever! The only downside? It's very hard to get in Germany, so I can't even recommend it to my friends at home )-;

All that and less
I have had this pack for over a year now, and used for everything from backpacking to train travel to beach trips. It is amazingly light weight and functional, and is my go to back for just about everything. It is incredibly to switch to a pack that just carries your stuff and disappears otherwise, rather than lugging an extra 6 pounds everywhere you go.

First Ultralight backpack
Wow! This is the first ultralight backpack that I've purchased, and I love it. My old backpack weighs nearly THREE times as much as the Jam. I trimmed the straps, and cut the dividers from the hipbelt pockets, cutting a few more ounces off the weight. I also took the foam support from the backpack, and added in the Closed Cell foam pad that I use as a sit-pad/foot-pad inside of my hammock. The material seems very durable for the low weight penalty. The pack is very comfortable, and allowed me to make a seamless transition into the world of ultralight packs!
