A polyurethane membrane is laminated between two layers of bonded four-way stretch polyester and treated with a super-DWR, resulting in a fabric with excellent stretch and waterproof protection, plus more breathability than regular storm shells. Trinity was developed with comfort in mind: the stretch allows for terrific range of motion regardless of the activity, and the waterproof protection keeps you warm and dry whatever the weather. Testing on the Trinity fabric indicates a waterproof level of 10,000mm and a breathability level of 10,000g/m²/24 hours.

good jacket

Very good jacket, very packaable and lightwieght. As any other lightweight i've had in the last few years. Creates a little condensation when its really humid, but just on bare skin so far.

Great Product!

Wore this jacket on a 5 hour hike in NH and let me tell you that this was by far my best investment of the 2012.

Weight / Price Ratio? PERFECT

This is almost a must have in any kit. I also have the older Reflexion as well. Rather redundant to own both but for the extra couple oz it’s almost worth the back up. This coat has tackled a Newfoundland thru-hike province wide and stood up to some serious spring / winter weather. Great in the rain but works even better a mid-layer. On its own, it may at first feel like you need more layers under, but don’t let the weight misguide you. It’s warm. Very please GL – keep up the good work.

Great Value

Bought this jacket for 1 to 4 day adventure races. It has a hood, is lighter and seems more breathable than the Gore Paclite jacket it is replacing. The zipper can be difficult, and I fear issues when covered in mud or ice and snow. I would recommend this to fellow racers.

Best Waterproof Jacket

Bought this a while back, and have used it on several winter mountain trips. Best value out there for a waterproof, durable jacket. The hood gives good visibility, yet good closure around the face in harsh weather. I'd buy it again.
