Packs

Cleaning

Use a mild soap and a damp sponge to wipe the outside and inside of the pack. NEVER use detergents of solvents.
Stubborn stains may require scrubbing with a soft bristle nylon brush. Excessive cleaning may damage the protective coatings and is not recommended.
Contamination by organic materials - e.g. sweat and food - can be a serious concern if you are using the pack in areas where bears and/or rodents are common. Use McNett Mirazyme enzyme cleanser to neutralize these contaminants once you have washed the pack as described above.
NEVER tumble dry your pack – the heat may damage the protective coatings.
Be sure to completely air dry the pack by opening all zippers and roll-tops prior to storing. Always store your pack in a cool, dry place.

Great Pack

I have the older version of the Quest, the large 72 L that weighs about a pound less. That pack carries very well for me. I'm not thrilled about the update's weight increases, but the added rigidity of the belt and suspension are great for beginning hikers with slightly heavier or bulkier gear who don't want a very heavy pack.

Great Pack

It has been a great pack but with in a year some of the stitching is coming apart.

Rough Rugged and Light, Loaded with features

I didn't quite want to go minimalist like the Jam, I love features and functionality this bag has to offer. I used it on the PCT for last 1300 miles and I am so happy that I did. I love the area in the front with the stretchy where you can put all sorts of things. Really nice side clips. I like the narrow fit and the adjustable torso. The top load portion has nice hidden zips, that dont get affected by the elements if you havent slipped on your pack cover. It also handle weight very well. I have used for some mountaineering trips and I love it. I can't say enough good things about it.

Good backpack

Good backpack for the cubic inches. Ultra light, durable. Used in canyon country with no problems.
