These pants are great in that I can fit them over my size 15 Chacos without taking the Chacos off. I am 6'5" and 230#s and the XL are even a bit big on me. Nice soft feel and the stretch that Pertex Shield provides so that they give rather than tearing. Good price point for these also.

I can't attest for the durability because I just recently got them, but I feel they are far superior to the Marmont Precip Full-zip pants that they will now replace! (And they are lighter!) If you want pockets, these pants are not for you. I was just out in a good Spring rain here in Minnesota and they did not wet through! If you want these made out of Pertex, buy the 2011 version, because for 2012, they will be made out of GoLite's Trinity fabric. I am 6"4" tall and 220 lbs and the XL was the correct length for me. A Large might work, but not worth trying to exchange.
