A nice shell with style

I had been looking for a softshell for a while to replace my aging fleece as my goto jacket, so when I found this at a decent price I jumped on it. I have worn it for a few weeks now and so far have enjoyed it. The construction seems sturdy and the style is better than some I've seen. The material is rather thin, but it cuts the wind well plus the soft inner cuff around the wrist is a nice touch. Probably best to layer on those extra cold days.

Great fit, excellent value

At 5'6", 130lb, the Small fits me perfectly. With other manufacturers, a Small is often too tight in the shoulders, and a Medium is too baggy in the gut. Not so with Golite- they tailor the fit to their target customers: serious outdoors people- not the average wannabe. Superb materials and workmanship; this jacket is a great value. One criticism: go easy on the logos- the small logo on the front is subtle and perfect- the one on the back of the collar is unnecessary and is reminiscent of a certain mainstream manufacturer. There is no need to shout when you have excellent products. The same goes for the ultralight packs- glad I bought them before the logos were super-sized.

Great Jacket

Just got this jacket a few weeks ago, I wear it when biking/hiking and it is absolutely fantastic. Stylish, warm, and does pretty well in light rain. I wouldn't want to rely on it in a downpour, but on the whole I was immensely satisfied.

Great softshell

Great jacket for high activity sports, breathability is good. Good protection against the elements for its weight.
