What's not to love! 7 oz for a rain poncho combined with shelter. Truly the epitomy of GOingLite and multi-use gear!!!

This is a fantastic poncho- that is always with me on trips. I have used it when stuck out over night unexpectedly and kept me dry. Great as both a poncho and full protection for your pack. I do not leave home with out this in my pack.

The overall design as a poncho is quite good. The snaps for the arms are high up which keeps the material over your sleeves. The extra material for over the pack snaps up out of the way nicely. I haven't staked it out as a shelter, so I can't comment on that.
The only downside is the head hole - looks like it was designed for a child. And there is no brim or beak. I'll probably modify the head hole for a little more room.
Overall, I like this poncho mainly because you can't beat the price and the weight.

Great product, especially for the current price. There are not many other poncho tarps on the market and this one is one of the most high quality. I wish it was just a little bigger so you could get more rain-cover in tarp mode.

I live in so cal and am looking to move from light to ultralight and this poncho tarp is my path. Poncho, Pack-cover, and a Tarp; all for 7oz. Whats not to like? Not only is it great for backpacking, but its light enough that it will always be in my day-pack for insurance against any foul weather, and you cant beat the price. Great buy.
