Cleaning

Use a mild soap and a damp sponge to wipe the outside and inside of the pack. NEVER use detergents of solvents.
Stubborn stains may require scrubbing with a soft bristle nylon brush. Excessive cleaning may damage the protective coatings and is not recommended.
Contamination by organic materials - e.g. sweat and food - can be a serious concern if you are using the pack in areas where bears and/or rodents are common. Use McNett Mirazyme enzyme cleanser to neutralize these contaminants once you have washed the pack as described above.
NEVER tumble dry your pack – the heat may damage the protective coatings.
Be sure to completely air dry the pack by opening all zippers and roll-tops prior to storing. Always store your pack in a cool, dry place.

UPDATE on pack!!!!

I've been using this pack the past 2 months EVERY weekend on backpacking trips to get away from our college campus... i have the lightest packweight out of my buddies cause this pack forces you to pack smart and light...the hikes are WAY more enjoyable and this holds everything i need for 2-3 night hikes. I strap my sleeping bag on the bottom, carry a down vest, water and food, headlamp/lighter and a book for reading/ tin foil to cook in and this is PERFECT. Sooo light... it frees me up to hike and do whatever I want really comfortably. Thank you again GOLITE

The Perfect Adventure Racing Pack - UPDATE

*** UPDATE *** After several months of racing, this pack has seen a good bit of wear and tear. Note that the lightweight of this pack does take a toll of it's durability, so if you're hard on your gear, or plan to take it where it may get abused, be ready for some field repairs. Other than that...it's a great lightweight pack. It holds more than enough gear for a weekend/ overnight outing, and could handle multiple bladders if your shoulders can take it (waist belt is really for securing it to your waist, not load dispersion).

GoLite Rush 20L

I bought this pack on a complete whim. I have 2 toddlers and need to carry everything but the kitchen sink so wanted a hiking or day outing backpack that would not add to the weight. An added bonus was that it came in different sizes so the sm/med did not overwhelm my smaller frame. The fabric is nice feeling and flexible and not scratchy and stiff like my other hydration pack. I only wish it had a few more pockets or compartments to make it easier to find things.

Best piece of gear

This pack is wonderful. It will be with you when you summit or when you are just for a stroll into town. It will fit everything you need and more. The hipbelt pockets are perfect for a snack or sunscreen. The pockets on the side are easy to access your water bottles. The fit is perfect, you can adjust it to fit over a jacket or to slide right over a snug fitting shirt. This is my go to day hiking pack.

Excellent daypack

Fits well. Very light! Free hydration bladder made it an excellent buy. Small but stretches, doesn't let weight sag like some packs. Highly recommend!!
