Used this primarily for motorcycle camping last summer. Big big tent that packs amazingly small, great for dual sport and long distance trail riding where you still want space for you, a friend, and all your riding gear with room to spare. Fairly easy to set up as well, once you get used to it.

The fact that this tent can be used car camping for 2 people with loads of room, or for more people and pets anytime, and for hunting in snow without the netting for a spacious shelter for 1 or 2 people plus gear makes it so versatile that it just makes sense for so many situations. It is a combo that is hard to argue with. Videos showing the tents ability to deal with harsh weather prove that this tent is awesome for rough weather.

I have just been trying this tent (Shangri la 5 with nest,from a colleague) with my little family(wife+3 kids)for a short bicycle trip and it's just fine, space could have been a bit roomier but for the weight of it, it's unbeatable. I will order it together with 2 jams, if there are still some left in the stock !
